‘Back to School’  Bouquets Wednesday

The first 75 donors get a flowers from Joel’s

ERIE, PA – The kids may be getting back to school, but it’s Mom who does all of the hard work. You can get a thank gift for Mom this Wednesday AND help save a life. This Wednesday the first 75 donors who come to the blood bank will receive a ‘Back to School’ bouquet generously donated by Joel’s Flower Shop. And donors all week can enter to win a fabulous Saint Patrick’s Day flower arrangement ($100 value) too.

Labor Day Weekend is approaching and is usually the third worst weekend of the year for blood use ( July 4th is first and Memorial Day is second). The Community Blood Bank hopes to be ready with a strong turnout of donors.

“My kids are headed back to school and I am amazed at the work my wife does to get them ready,”  Said Dan Desrochers, Director of Marketing at the blood bank; “Flowers from Joel’s will be the perfect thank you gift.”

All donors are strongly encouraged to donate at the Community Blood Bank, 2646 Peach Street.  Community Blood Bank is open from 9a.m. 6p.m. Monday through Friday and until 7:30pm Tuesday night and Saturday 9a.m.—12:30 p.m.  Photo ID required.
